Order of flats and sharps
Memorize the order of flats and sharps.
Flats: BEADGCF
Sharps: FCGDAEB
If the key signature has only one flat, it must be B. If it has 3 flats, it must be B, E, and A
If the key signature has only one sharp, it must be F. If it has 4 sharps, it must be F, C, G, and D.
