Krypton is a fictional planet appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The planet is the native world of Superman and is named after the element Krypton. In its first appearance, Krypton was only depicted at the moment of its destruction.
This fanfare is used as the viewer zooms in on Krypton, and again with the self-construction of the Fortress of Solitude.
Values: Curiosity, Wonder
Prompt: Think of a time when you’ve experienced something larger than life. Larger than this world, something beyond your past experiences or dreams. What blows your mind? Think of something that you can’t explain or don’t need an explanation.

LYRICS
I can hear you but I won't
Some look for trouble
While others don't
There's a thousand reasons
I should go about my day
And ignore your whispers
Which I wish would go away
You're not a voice
You're just ringing in my ear
And if I heard you, which I don't
I'm spoken for I fear
Everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls
I'm sorry, secret siren, but I'm blocking out your calls
I've had my adventure, I don't need something new
I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you
I can hear you but I won't
Some look for trouble
While others don't
There's a thousand reasons
I should go about my day
And ignore your whispers
Which I wish would go away
You're not a voice
You're just ringing in my ear
And if I heard you, which I don't
I'm spoken for I fear
Everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls
I'm sorry, secret siren, but I'm blocking out your calls

”It's an anthem that kids, and adults, can really relate to - that sense of, you're being called to go do something, but you don't know what it is or where it's going to lead you ... It sort of says, ‘Follow your calling.'”
— Clark Spencer, president of Disney Animation Studios
The song is Elsa's "flagship number", and prominently features a siren call that serves as the film's musical motif that Christophe Beck weaves throughout the film score. The call is derived from the Latin sequence Dies irae, but is delivered in a manner inspired by the Scandinavian music form kulning.
Values: Courage, Destiny
Prompt: Share an experience in your life, when you felt like you were being called to do something. Not like a direct calling like someone telling you to do something. Think of something a little quieter, maybe more spiritual that was guiding you in a particular direction.

LYRICS
You could never know what it's like
Your blood like winter freezes just like ice
And there's a cold lonely light that shines from you
You'll wind up like the wreck you hide behind that mask you use
And did you think this fool could never win?
Well look at me, I'm coming back again
I got a taste of love in a simple way
And if you need to know while I'm still standing you just fade away
Don't you know I'm still standing better than I ever did
Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid
I'm still standing after all this time
Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind
I'm still standing, yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm still standing, yeah, yeah, yeah
“I’m Still Standing” speaks about Elton John’s successful recovery from a broken past relationship. Here, he tells his ex that he has moved on and is better off without them.
The singer first describes his past lover as a pretentious cold-hearted person who will probably end up revealing their true colors soon. He then reminds his ex that he won because he has forgotten about their affair, gotten rid of their past memories and has even tasted a less complicated form of love elsewhere.
Elton further shows his ex that he is doing much better now that they are not together. He uses the phrase “I’m still standing” to depict his rising up from the hurt which made him fall. He sees himself as a survivor who has been able to pick back the broken pieces of his life without thinking of his ex.
While recalling the pain he felt from the manipulative relationship they had, the singer mentions that his lover was always leaving him or threatening him to do so. Yet now that they are no more, he feels much lighter and is stronger despite the experience.
Values: Resilience, Endurance
Prompt: Share an experience in your life, when you overcame an obstacle. Maybe it’s a broken relationship. Maybe a disappointing result. Despite the heartbreak, you’re stronger because of it.

The Wishing Well – Rossano Galante
|
|
European folklore describes a wishing well as a sacred place where one could utter a wish and then drop a coin into the well as payment. As legend has it, if the coin lands heads up, the guardian of the well would grant the wish, but if the coin lands tails up, the wish would be ignored.
The Wishing Well depicts a touching musical scene of a child approaching a well and making a wish. The music ebbs and flows utilizing solos and full ensemble to describe the water at the bottom of the well. As we reach the climax, the main theme is stated as the child tosses the coin into the well with the hope the wish will be granted.
Delicate melodies, warm harmonies and lush orchestration capture the essence of the child’s wish. As the music tapers away during the final chords, we learn that the child has been granted their wish.
Galante earned a degree in trumpet performance from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1992. He then was accepted into the film scoring program at the University of Southern California and studied with film composer Jerry Goldsmith.
Mr. Galante has composed music for the films Bite Marks, The Last Straight Man, Monday Morning and Channels. He has served as orchestrator for over sixty studio films including A Quiet Place, The Mummy, Logan, Big Fat Liar, Scary Movie 2, The Tuxedo, and Tuesdays With Morrie, to name only a few.
Values: Hope, Aspiration
Prompt: A wish is a desire or hope for something happen that is not easily attainable. Have you ever wished for something? What was it? Did you attain it? How did it make you feel if you did or not?

LYRICS
Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive
And the world I'll turn it inside out, yeah
I'm floating around in ecstasy
So, (don't stop me now)
(Don't stop me)
'Cause I'm having a good time, having a good time
I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm gonna go, go, go
There's no stopping me
I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah
200 degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm travelling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
I'm having such a good time
I'm having a ball
(Don't stop me now)
If you wanna have a good time just give me a call
(Don't stop me now)
'Cause I'm having a good time
(Don't stop me now)
Yes, I'm havin' a good time
I don't want to stop at all
Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive
And the world I'll turn it inside out, yeah
I'm floating around in ecstasy
So, (don't stop me now)
(Don't stop me)

Alexis Petridis of The Guardian wrote that the "astonishing" song "may be Queen’s greatest song of all." He felt it was "a direct product of [Mercury's] hedonism and promiscuity: an unrepentant, joyous, utterly irresistible paean to gay pleasure-seeking. You find yourself wondering if its title might not have been aimed at his censorious bandmates."
Mike Orme of Stylus Magazine ranked it the 7th greatest penultimate track on an album, calling it Queen's "most flamboyant and energetic single" and commenting: "Essentially three and a half minutes of Freddie Mercury jacking the mike from the rest of the world, the song offers him a chance to let us know just how much fun he’s having in the spotlight." Billboard Magazine praised Brian May's guitar solo and also stated that "less gimmick laden" than Queen's previous single "while still retaining the brazen arrogance of Freddie Mercury's lead vocals."
The song is about giving yourself the best moments you can, enjoying life, forgetting everything that could stick you to the ground and believing that you can fly and touch the stars. The song is also about a man intent on having a wild night out in any and every way he can think of, and inviting the rest of us to come along for the ride or else get out of his way.
Values: Bliss, Persistence
Prompt: Share a life experience when you felt the most determined. Tenacious, persistent, unwavering. You know you’re right. You want to do what you want to do. You are going to do what you are going to do and nothing is going to get in your way.
