I can build all 12 major chords.
GENERAL
A chord is made up of 3 or more notes. For now, we will talk about building chords out of the first, third, and fifth note. The major third is 4 half steps away and the perfect fifth is 7 steps away. Another way to think about this, is that a major triad is built with a major 3rd and a minor 3rd stacked on top of each other.
